12 ounces pasta (such as penne or rigatoni) 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed 1 cup sliced pepperoni 2 cups marinara sauce 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook the pasta: Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the meats: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and cooked through. Break it up into smaller pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Layer the casserole: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish. Top with half of the cooked pasta.
